Jessica Schacherl and her family live on a farm near Wyevale Ontario.  We have goats, sheep, horses, cows, pot belly pigs, roosters, hens, a duck, several cats ... and Australian Shepherds.

Just to be clear, the Aussies and cats are the only ones we let in the house.  The rest are well taken care of in our century barn and pastures.

When asked to describe the Australian Shepherd's characteristics, Jessica identifies that they are active, intelligent, versatile and beautiful !

Jessica and her dogs have been involved in all venues in the past few years – Conformation, Agility, Obedience and Rally-O.  Her dogs are quickly gaining titles.  In 2008, Jessica put ten titles on her Aussies.

Ewenique's breeding program is based on quality – not quantity.  Top priority is the health of the dogs.  Our goal is to breed Aussies with great versatility.  Only one or two litters will be planned on a yearly basis.  More information on breeding plans and related health testing can be found on our Puppies page.
